[ARCHIVED] Now Hiring – Part-time Community Service Officer

The City of Ramsey is seeking an individual to work part-time (up to 25 hours per week) as a Community Service Officer (CSO) in the Police Department.  The primary objectives of this position include performing support duties to the Police Department’s operations, including, but not limited to performing regularly scheduled community service work for public protection and crime prevention.  The primary service goals of this position include providing cost-effective public safety and superior customer service.  Other duties also include, investigate ordinance complaints, perform animal control duties, perform code enforcement activities, assist with vehicle maintenance and repairs. 

This is a uniformed, non-sworn position with the City of Ramsey’s Police Department.  This is an AFSCME union position working up to 25 hours per week, which may include evenings and weekends.  Paid leave benefits are pro-rated based on hours worked per week (vacation & sick time).  The 2023 hiring wage is $22.380 to $27.975 per hour depending on qualifications.  Applications are accepted until 11:59 pm on Sunday, December 4, 2022.
