[ARCHIVED] Important Vote Update for Absentee Voters

**IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR VOTERS WITH AN ABSENTEE BALLOT**

A court ruling on October 29 now requires that absentee ballots must ARRIVE on Election Day in order to be counted. Any ballots that come in after Election Day will not be counted. If you still have an absentee ballot, please consider dropping it off at your city hall or at the Anoka County Government Center. All locations will be open on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. -3:00 P.M. and on Monday until 5:00 P.M. The deadline to drop off on Election Day is 3:00 P.M. Otherwise you can vote early or vote at your polling place on Election Day.
