Toys for Joy and Granny's Closet

The Ramsey City Hall is collecting donations for Toys for Joy and Granny's Closet. Donation boxes are available in the City Hall's foyer.

Toys for Joy is a charitable program founded in 1986 by the North Metro Realtor Association. The program assists Anoka County area families in need during the holiday season. Over the years, the program has provided toys for thousands of children each year. Gift ideas include tool/auto kits, science/engineering kits, lamps/pillows/decor, bean bag chairs, shelves, Lego sets, anything Nerf, art/craft sets, makeup, fragrances, skateboards, inline skates, scooters, bikes, workout equipment, camping gear, Bluetooth speakers. The last day to donate toys or cash is Wednesday, December 14. 

This year the City of Ramsey is collecting cleaning supplies for Granny's Closet. Granny's is a local, non-profit organization working to improve the quality of life for senior citizens and adults with disabilities. A collection box is available in the Ramsey City Hall foyer. Cleaning supplies include such items as tub/shower/toilet bowl/all-purpose cleaners, dish/laundry soap, sponges, brooms, dust pans, etc. For more information about Granny's Closet, visit www.grannyscloset.org.
