AED Donated by Ramsey Lions Saves A Life

An automated external defibrillator (AED) that was donated by the Ramsey Lions to the Ramsey Heart Safe program, helped save a life recently at The Outpost Bar and Grill in Ramsey on Thursday, January 11, 2018.  The Ramsey Lions purchased the AED with proceeds from their charitable pull tab sales.  The Ramsey Lions have purchased and donated a number of AED’s for the Ramsey Heart Safe program.  Active in Ramsey since 2015, the Heart Safe program has worked to train over 1,400 residents in bystander CPR and ensure adequate coverage of public use AEDs in our city.
