High Water Levels in Ponds Near Armstrong Blvd/Bunker Lake Blvd. Intersection

We have received several inquiries regarding the high water levels in the ponds at the intersection of Armstrong Blvd. and Bunker Lake Blvd.  This water is coming from temporary pumps that are removing groundwater during the installation of a sanitary lift station and deep sewer line along Puma Street (west of Armstrong Blvd.).

Staff is monitoring the water level daily.  Several of the dewatering pumps will be shut off on Wednesday, December 13 and all are anticipated to be shut off by Friday, December 15.  At this point water levels will return to normal.  Questions may be directed to our Public Works Superintendent at 763-286-0282.
