About the Department

The Administration Department is a multi-faceted department that provides support to the public, the organization as a whole and to the City Administrator. The department is made up of staff members that provide support for multiple divisions, such as Communications, Elections and Human Resources. 

About the City Administrator

City Administrator Kurt Ulrich oversees all City operations and activities. Directly responsible to the City Council, he provides leadership, vision and direction to all City departments including Community and Economic Development, Engineering, Finance, Fire, Parks and Recreation, Police and Public Works. Administrator Ulrich also manages organizational development, community and intergovernmental relations; provides Council support; oversees City budgeting and planning; assists with human resources matters, labor relations and strategic planning; conducts policy research and much more.
